What's it like? Anyone there yet?
For your convenience, here is a link to that call posting:
Def breaking a whole bunch of fire codes
Can someone post if they are seeing non eq today! Thanks so much
At 7:30 there were already 45 on the non-eq list. I heard the hallway is so jam-packed people can't move.
The monitors have arrived and set up shop - the official non-eq list is up (around 70 people) and the AEA/EMC are chilling in the main waiting room. Non-eqs were told to hang around until 9:30 for an update on what the day is gonna look like. So, more news soon!
what are appointments and the alt list is looking like?
Any word on how many EMC?/If most equity appointments are full?
Any AEA slots still avail?
Very few slots left. Emc is about 70. 2 on the alternate list. No word yet on if they are seeing nonequity
Thanx Heather! Any idea who's in the room?
non-eq were told to leave and check in later. they weren't told they wouldn't be seen though.
When I left at 10:15am:
Non-eq list was at 100. EMC at 70.
Two AEA slots available.
Non-eqs were told to leave and check back later; "Seeing EMC and Non-eq time permitting."
left too soon. whos in the room?
at 10:30 here were 12 people on the alternate list
Have they seen any EMC yet? :)
How quickly have they been moving? How many alternates/EMCs have they seen?
who's in the room?
30something names on AEA alt list, and they've seen 5 or 6.
Male casting assistant Michael Morloni in the room w/ the reader.
I miss the equity monitors who used to crank thru the alt list!!
Doesn't sound like it's looking good for EMC at all today :(
For some reason someone started another thread, but they posted this info:
@12:15 there are 30something names on AEA alt list...they've seen maybe 5 or 6 alts.
There's a male casting assistant in the room and a reader.
just heard: not seeing non-eq today :(
Is it safe to assume that a new non equity list will start on Sat?
probably, but most likely will be the same situation :/
I was #26 on the alt list and the'd put #12 online when they sent us away for lunch @1:30. I'm going home and crossing fingers for an agent appt. Good luck all!
Thanks for the updates everyone! I just need starstuff and then I'll be a real actor!!! Bwahahaha
it makes you what you want to beeeeeeeee
Any word on EMC?
Was he in the room all day or did anyone switch in and out?
Anyone know when agent appts are?
The breakdowns didn't have an actual audition date listed--they were just asking for hardcopy resubmits (on Tues)
The only date I saw was the 1st day of rehearsal--Feb 18th.
I'm assuming No EMCs were seen? Debating if my chances will be any better this weekend.
Just got an appt for Tuesday. Apparently they want American accents? Did they ask for American accents at the EPAs?
Anyone have any insight into whether it seems that they want a Celia Keenan-Bolger lookalike or if it's more of a free-for-all aesthetically?
TellmeMore: They asked for American accents for the 3 boys. British for all others.
Awesome- thanks NeverSleep. The boys on Broadway had British accents, I'm wondering why they want American for audition? Ahhh, well!
@TellMeMore...did you go to the EPA before getting your appointment?
@NYC1490 No, this was through my agent.
And I just looked and the lost boys did have American accents on Broadway. I guess I just didn't remember that! Thanks for the help, guys.
@TellMeMore - told my manager i wanted to get a private appt, to which she replied all she could do is hard copy submission. any comment/advice on this?
