• backstage admin where are you!!!!! 12/07/2017  6:47pm

The admin isn't actively monitoring the posts. If you want to complain about a particular post, thread, orposter, you need to email them at customers@backstage.com

...and that's why they're useless. It's very easy for them to ignore private emails. If they're going to call themselves an admin, they should be actively monitoring the site that they own.

I totally agree that they SHOULD be actively moderating the site, but they're not, so saying "Hey, Admin!" isn't helpful. The admin DID say in an earlier thread that if anyone has a complaint about a particular post or thread, to email him at customers@backstage.com. So if you do that, at least there's a CHANCE they'll do something, or at least take a stand on whether there's a TOS and rules, or whether this is a free-for-all.

(Didn't Tom once say he was planning to start a "new" Audition Update-type forum, since his non-compete clause had expired? What ever happened with that?)

I think this site was meant to empower the underdog, to some degree, but letting those of us in the EPA/open call world share information and opinions. The hateful exchanges here are disturbing to me and makes me wonder what demons need to be confronted on both sides of the casting table.

Wow... some of you surely should consider seeing a therapist!!!

Noodles your posts reek of misinformation, inexperience, and entitlement. Check yourself before posting in a public forum, or prepare to be called out.

Late to the party, but just to clarify, I will be frequently monitoring AU and removing posts that violate our Community Guidelines as I see them. If you want to report any thread or post in particular, please send them to customers@backstage.com. (And yes, we respond to all emails that are sent to us). Thanks for your patience through this and let's try to be civil, folks.
