Just realized some of the teachers listed under training on my resume are people I worked with a decade ago. Is it standard to take teachers off your resume after a given amount of time?

I don't see why. You did get training from these people - and that training is still part of you, no matter how long ago it was.

I've never heard of a hard rule regarding this. But... sometimes I would phase out teachers if you've added more quality teachers in that category of training since then. Some names also sell more than others and you want those names visible instead of being lost amongst the crowd because of a crowded resume.

But be careful and make sure that those "bigger names" know who you are. A friend of mine who teaches regularly in the city but also choreographs a lot will regularly see her own name on the resumes of people she doesn't know. Just because you've taken someone's open class a few times it doesn't constitute them training you.
