• anybody know of any restaurants hiring? 02/14/2018  7:41am

i just had my shifts basically cut from full time to like 1-2 a week, and I have no savings, because pursuing acting as working class hand-mouth is just..... yeah. i'm desperate as fuck. anybody know of anything hiring, where I could potentially be on the floor making tips by the weekend? i have so much experience, but that doesnt seem to matter much these days :(

    ugh this again?

and not only that, but every restaurant i drop off my resume at, 95% of these people are SO mean and nasty, like... i'm applying for a job, can't you just be nice to me? end rant

Look at the app called harri. It's basically tinder for restaurant jobs. I downloaded and had like 8 interviews within 24 hours. Also open calls for restaurants on craigslist are amazing, because if you can form a coherent sentence you're already doing better than 90% of the people who show up to them, and you'll get hired on the spot. There are options. You can do this!

Culinary Agents is very similar to Harri and sometimes has higher end and different places listed! :)

I’ve never gotten a single thing off harri lol and I have a ton of experience. It’s really competitive out there they all want open availability and want to give you 2 shifts a week, it’s pretty insane
