I think this is a great place to work. There are negatives like the uniforms and the large number of performances can be a bit much for some people, but the positives are huge. Management does care about you and people always make great friends. Lots a fun things to do while you are there like concerts and going to nearby Harrisburg. The pay is going to be more than most non-eq theater jobs and the housing is nice. Overall, you get to perform a lot, have your nights off (for summer shows), be paid to perform, and party as much as you want.

I was wondering if you could elaborate on the housing situation? What the complexes are like/how roommates usually work?

Housing is really nice, 3 bedroom apartments. You will, most likely share a room, but is not bad, there's enough space for 5 or 6 people in the apartment.

I loved my time in Hershey, but I did Christmas. I don't know if I could do 30 - 36 shows a week for the same amount of pay. People are nice, overall a nice experience.

Do you need a car to get to Hershey or is the housing close enough to walk?

Also curious about singer pay. What's the average for a singer or singer/dancer? I've seen $525 is the minimum. Do people ever get more than that?
